Is there a danger of idealising Iceland? Seems that trying to demonstrate Iceland is not a basket case suggests it is Nirvana. The daily reality in any country is at neither extreme. One question though -- when the going gets very rough, what capacity do very small nations have? The answer seems to be about the same as very big nations (less clout but more cohesion, less financial reserves but more flexibility etc).
