I agree with Brian Wilson in today's Scotsman about the overcrowding and poor structure that marred last week's Question Time programme in Inverness. But the SNP are the Scottish government - not just a vehicle for independence. Surely they have a right -- and a responsibility -- to be involved in every public debate in Scotland? A better question would be why Michael Forsyth or Charles Kennedy were (both) on bumping numbers up to an unsual and umanageable six? Alan Cumming was clearly relevant, newsworthy and a good booking. But why all the weary usual suspects? Just cos they are Friends of the Union - when the No campaign hasn't even officially launched yet? Purlease.
