Meantime utterly chuffed to get tickets to see Alan Cumming perform every role in the National Theatre of Scotland's Macbeth next week at the Tramway -- venue for so many unforgettable performances over the years. I was at Border Warfare there in the 80s and still remember hearing Michael Marra's amazing "When I went mincin wi Chairlie" sung from a vantage point above an audience standing "trapped" between the two stages and opposing armies –one of the saddest songs (and best plays) about the vainglorious nature of Scotland's military heritage. Anyway performances Wed 13 - Sat 16 & Wed 20 June are sold out but a small number of tickets are left for all other performances through the Tramway Box Office. Book by calling 0845 330 3501.

Great to see your puff piece for your favourite nationalist ... don't remember you caring about Cumming's career before he outed himself as a separatist.
Can we expect more 'news' about other nationalists??
